Do you like going to foreign countries? If so, would it still be fun for you if you had to go traveling with things you can only fit in your backpack? Well, would you rather spend a month backpacking around Europe or around Asia?
I would rather choose to spend a month backpacking around Asia. Firstly, to be logical, in most places, prices are cheaper in Asia than in Europe. So I would be able to travel in better quality by sleeping in better hotels and eating better food instead of trying to save money. I also think the tradition and history will be richer in Asia rather than in Europe. The food will be more diverse than in Europe just because it is wider and bigger than in Asia. This also means I will have more choice on where to travel rather than Europe. But this could also be a disadvantage. Although Asia has more diversity in culture than Europe, this also means that they all have different expectations of tourists and different treatment of them. I will have to learn all of them while also traveling, managing my finance, planning my next travels, and actually traveling. This could possibly be too much, where in Europe most of the cultures are similar and expectations of tourists are similar in most of the countries. But this also means that it would be pretty boring after a week or so just watching old ruins and architects. And what will I do for 4 months in Europe? But a lot of famous inventors and celebrities were born in Europe, and it could be entertaining just going to their birthplaces. For example, Mozart from Austria, Napoleon from Ajaccio, etc. But 7 of the top 10 cities are in Asia like Bangkok and Singapore, so there will be more tourists who I can communicate with. This means I can have a better experience by getting help from some other more experienced travelers and tourists. There are also a lot of natural wonders in Asia like Mount Everest and Mount Fuji. But Europe has many interesting foods like Asia, like Gyros, Goulash, Pastel de Nata, and if you are old enough to drink, beer from Germany.
