Reality TV is not reality.

Hi! How are you doing? Do you think that reality shows are not actually real? Well, today's topic is "Reality TV is not reality."

Well, I think that they are "realistic". Most of the time, what they do in a reality show is possible to happen in the real world, which makes it realistic. If you don't get it, think of realistic fiction books, reality shows are realistic even though usually realistic fiction books are history, I think that reality shows are very possible. So, realistic shows are realistic. Another reason is that most the reality shows don't even have a script, the cast will just wing it or improvise. I think I would call this as realistic a show can be without stalking people.

But I also have another opinion. Reality shows are not realistic. The first reason is that reality shows are often rigged, meaning they have the basic overall course of how the show looks like. And if the editor feels like it, he/she can remove the whole part of the scene. This isn't even realistic at all. Another reason is that reality shows are there to make people laugh. It's made for money, which means that they are most likely to follow the trend. They are most likely to have cast as people who are famous or trending. This isn't very realistic because is it realistic that you see a famous person every week?

To summarize, sum up or gather all the pieces of information from this essay or selection, I think that reality shows are realistic because casts are improving without a given script. This is realistic because it really shows who a person is, not the character they are. But it is also unrealistic because directors or whoever runs the show would usually give the overall course that he/she wants the show or the episode to be like. Usually, if the editor thinks that something doesn't look very fun, he or she would probably edit it or cut it or just skip all of them. Most of them are also rigged, editor and the casts are most likely to edit or do things that are trending to get as much view as possible.
