Well, I will present two opinions about this topic. Firstly, I will introduce why it should be illegal for anyone under 18. The first reason that it should be illegal for anyone under 18 is that plastic surgeries are expensive. And if plastic surgery goes wrong, it will cost as much as it did to cause that damage. And nobody knows what will happen as a person's face changes as they grow, which means they get to regret it later in their life. And some surgeries can be irreversible, costly, or very painful. And lots of teenagers have appearance complex, so they can do something that they may regret in later life, one of them being plastic surgery.
Now, I will present why it should not be illegal and legal to do plastic surgery under 18. The first reason is that it is their own choice if they want to have plastic surgery or not. And it could change their whole life, especially if they have an appearance complex, they can overcome it by having plastic surgery if they want to. And plastic surgeries are expensive, meaning that teens can't just have them without their parent's permission, so even if they really want it, if their parents don't allow it, they will not be able to do it. Another reason is that plastic surgery can help fix birth defects, injuries, scars, and other things that they can't fix without plastic surgeries. And it would also help them feel confident about themselves.
To conclude or sum up all the important pieces of information from this selection or essay, I think they should make it illegal because it is very costly and hard to reverse. But it would be also good to make it legal because teens won't be able to do it without their parent's permission since it is very costly. And it could also fix scars or injuries that nothing but plastic surgery can fix.
