The New Zealand flag should not be changed.

 Hi! Do you privately know anyone who lives in New Zealand or do you live in New Zealand? Well, today's very fascinating essay topic is "The New Zealand flag should not be changed."

Well, about today's topic, I don't really have any strong opinion on both sides since I'm not from New Zealand so why not explain both?

So firstly I will explain why they should or have to change the flag of New Zealand. This reason would also apply to Australia, but those two flags look too similar, and New Zealand's ambassadors actually said that he had been under Australia's flag during meetings or conferences. Another reason is that it shows that they are under British colonization and not in their current state which would be independent. And it could be a sad story to native people that lived in New Zealand and were treated unfairly. So, it will be probably a respectful choice for native New Zealanders and a smart, and wise choice to change their flag. 

Well, allow me to introduce you to why they shouldn't change their flag. The first reason is that lots of New Zealanders are attached to it because it has been their flag for decades. And on almost every vote asking citizens of New Zealand if they want to change the flag of New Zealand, they were pretty much divided in half but "Disagree" or "Neutral" always won. It would be because they would not like to change their flag. And lots of young soldiers died on this flag in the battles of New Zealand and British. So changing this flag would be ignoring and disrespecting soldiers who have sacrificed their lives for New Zealand and the British.

So to sum up all the important or significant pieces of information from this selection, it would be good to change New Zealand's flag to respect native New Zealanders and to clear the confusion between New Zealand's flag and Australia's flag since they look so identical. But by changing it, it would be an act of disrespecting soldiers who died in the battles of New Zealand and British. Also, most New Zealanders would not like to change the flag of New Zealand.
