Hi! Do you think violence and crime are among the worst and major problems for government to solve? Well, today's topic is "Making drugs illegal creates an environment for crime and violence."

Well, I have two opinions, they will and they won't... Let's get right into it.

The first reason for the first opinion is that yes, it will create an environment for crime and violence, is that more individual criminals will happen where there used to be big drug gang crimes because if they clear up because they can't find any job anymore, individual criminals will start to come up, meaning that it would be harder for police to catch or capture the attacker or criminal since it would be hard to get any evidence. Another reason is that making drugs illegal would force drug groups to secretly smuggle drugs, which means that they would be more strict and careful about their own secrets, causing to form an atmosphere where polices can't do much, nor residents. 

But as always, there are opposing opinions. The opposing opinion is that no it will not. The first reason is that after drug gangs move away because they don't have any jobs, police will have a short amount of time to regain control of the village or town. And this could mean that criminals will not hesitate to do a crime because they know they will be captured soon. Another reason is that residents will realize how much better it is without crimes or violence in their town or village. They will do almost anything to fight against the crimes and violence. And it is most likely that government will send more officers or support for police to catch all criminals related to drugs and stop the environment from forming for crime and violence. 

To sum up all the major, important, and key pieces of information from this selection, I think it could form an environment like that, but is it not likely and the government will probably try to stop the environment from forming to be for crime and violence. Although crime gangs and drug gangs would try to regain control back, it would be pretty hard.
