Hi! Do you think assassination is a cool thing? Well, today's topic is "Assassination can never be justified."
I have 2 opinions about this topic. But I mostly think that it can never ever be justified. The first and main reason for this is that assassination is still killing. And it could really depend on what side you are looking at. If you think it was the right choice, you may say that it is justified but if you think the opposite, you may disagree and say it was an unfair act. So, it really depends, but whoever you are killing, whether that would be a soldier or a president, it will not and can't be justified. I mean even if you think that someone is very evil enough to deserve death, it is just a bad thing. And lots of people instead choose to do a nonviolence act or try to negotiate if they have the power to.
But as I said before, I have two opinions, and the second opinion is that it can be justified. One example could be doing you think that assassination of Hitler can't be justified? Although he wasn't assassinated, would it be fair? A person who has done a war crime and started one of the worst war to be written in history, would it be justified? Well, if, hypothetically, someone managed to assassinate him during the war, the war will probably end faster than it had. But would it be justified for what he or she did to Hitler? Well, I think it does, by ending one's life, it prevented from ending of millions of lives. And I'm pretty sure that most people would choose to kill 1 person or to kill millions. I don't think the person who assassinated him would be called a criminal, instead, he would be named something like "war hero", or "person who saved millions of lives". But you have to remember this is for some cases, some people like Abraham Lincon or John F Kenedy got assassinated too. And those people who did it were called criminals and they were captured by police. So it really depends on people's thinking. If someone were assassinated Lincon10years ago, he probably wouldn't be captured by police.
