Vegetarianism is an ecologically thoughtful lifestyle.

Hi! Are you vegetarian? If not, do you think it is good for the environment? Well, today's topic is "Vegetarianism is an ecologically thoughtful lifestyle."

I think they are. The first reason is that if they are only eating plants, there will be way more animals since they are not eating them. That means it will reduce the chance of attack of carnivores or omnivores on county villages. It could help people, and it could help animals that are trapped in small spaces. And it could break the food chain if somethings or something were to happen and thousands of animals escape. It also helps lessen the carbon footprints, so river, creek, sea, and pond pollution. It is also helpful to know that artificially giving farm animals antibiotics could help produce super viruses which then could spread to the wild. And it will cause huge distribution in the environment and nobody wants those viruses spreading to humans. It could make another new virus that could be stronger than Coronavirus or Covid-19 or however you call it.

But there is another opinion too. Because vegetarians only eat vegetables, they need to grow them or buy them from the market. And in order to grow those, they will have fields. But that itself is disrupting the environment. Some omnivores or herbivores may come down and eat vegetables. You may just think that they are annoying bad animals. But it is just the same thing as giving food to wild animals. They will learn that fields are a great source of food and keep coming back. Of course, it doesn't really matter, except that if the quantity of vegetarians increases,  the count of those vegetable fields will grow too. You may argue it is just the same thing with herds of animals in cages. But no it isn't, they have fences to BLOCK animals from escaping, so not a lot of animals would get in there.

To sum up, it could help lots of animals and lessen the attack of carnivores if lots of people try vegetarianism, but it could be also the same as giving free food to wild animals since if the demand for vegetables grows, there will be more them, and those animals would come and eat them.
