Should there be a dress code to prevent students from wearing revealing clothes?

Hi! Do you like trying out new clothes? Well, today's topic is "Should there be a dress code to prevent students from wearing revealing clothes?".

Well, I think there should be, some people could wear inappropriate clothes that have bad meanings to them. Some people may think that it is not fair because people have the right to wear whatever they want. It is true, that they have a right, but it is school, and I don't think it would be a good idea to wear inappropriate clothes to school. I think teachers will probably stop you. And you can get suspended for it. And most of the schools that I know have dress codes. Which I think is great. I also think that maybe some weird cloth could get you in a trouble or some people may not like you because they don't like what you are wearing. Although it is very rare, even teachers may treat you differently because of clothes. So it is pretty important and if you know the right dress code, it could save you from those moments.

But here is a very interesting and important question, what would be an appropriate and good dress code? I'm no dress code expert (I'm sure there isn't a job like that), but a good one in my opinion would be, No aggressive words or meanings on clothes or accessories, and no revealing clothes. I could add a note saying "Also, for parents, please every day before your kid or kids go to school, please check if it is "School appropriate clothes" it could get your child into trouble so please take this seriously." And I'm pretty sure that it will cover MOST of the stuff that needs to be told.

There is of course another opinion, there shouldn't be. Unless there are more parents than 50% who don't like this, it should be kids' right to choose what they want to wear, and if the message is too inappropriate, they can hide it with duck tape or any other thing that could hide it. But I'm pretty sure that more than 50% of parents will not like this idea at all.

To sum up, I agree that there should be a dress code stating that students shouldn't wear inappropriate clothes.
