Mobile phones should be banned in schools for both students and teachers.

Hi! Do you like playing mobile games on your phone? "Mobile phones should be banned in schools for both students and teachers.".

Well, I disagree with it, but not fully. Teachers should be able to use their phones for communication with other teachers or for "educational "purposes. Teachers shouldn't be playing mobile games on their phones while teaching! If he or she ever does that, they are a bad teacher. They should be focused on teaching and teaching only which is the job they are assigned to do and expected to do. It could be also a little bit distracting for students to see their teacher doing something else on their phone instead of teaching. But I only have been talking about why teachers shouldn't have phones so I'm now gonna talk about why students shouldn't have a phone at school.

Firstly, the MAIN purpose of school is to  LEARN! Of course, there are side purposes like making friends, having fun, or just places where parents can drop kids off and work. But I do not think at all that phone may help with any of these tasks. The phone is just useless in these situations, there aren't any reasons for students to have their phones! it is just so ridiculous. You could argue that they need their phone to socialize or make more friends. But there is lunchtime! You can talk at that time! Or you can chat while you are at home. I don't see any reason for students to chat with their friends during school time. Also, if a phone is in students' backpacks or something, it could distract them, and if they are brave enough, they could do their phone secretly. This is just bad for them because they are just gonna get caught and their teacher will probably take their phone and give them a good amount of detention. To sum up this paragraph, students bringing their phones to their school is just unnecessary and it is unneeded. But for teachers, it could help them with communication with other teachers and for education purposes. I think it is very unnecessary in this case.
