Hi! Do you know anything at all about the war on drugs? Well, today's very interesting essay topic is "The negative effects of Ronald Reagan’s “War on Drugs.”". Well, one of the negative effects of Ronald Reagan’s “War on Drugs.” would be that although this program caught some real drug dealers, some innocent people who hadn't done any violence but they carried something like a gun and were convicted of drug dealers. Some people claimed that the war on drugs was racist, I don't disagree with them since people that police searched were usually hippies and African Americans. Although I don't know a lot about Ronald Reagan's war on drugs, I think there would have been some stereotypes applied when police tried to capture people with drugs or drug dealers. But capturing and fighting drug dealers wasn't everything in the war on drugs, there were lots of campaigns to prevent teenagers and children to use drugs.
