Tipping in restaurants should be made obligatory

The first reason that tipping should be made obligatory is that waiters don't earn a lot. Since profit is divided to all of the waiters, so only money that the waiter keep is the tip. And sometimes tip can be high, but sometimes, it can be low. But whatever the price is, they are getting more money. Also, waiters will be more friendly, because they will get more money or tips If they are more friendly to customers. And customers will enjoy the experience and come back again. It also shows appreciation to waiters, and just paying for a meal is not enough because there is no way to say thank you if people don't give them tips. It is also a manner, so it is a way to respect people, and if someone doesn't follow manner, they could feel unrespected. 

Another opinion is that tipping should NOT be made obligatory. One of the reasons is that tipping should be freedom. If tips become required, for customers, it might just look like an additional fee. Another reason is that tips are not things that people should worry about when they go to the restaurant, like taxes. So tips should be the way of appreciating as I said before. But some people may say, "Well, it is the manner to give tip to the waiter."  But the thing is that it is the manner, people shouldn't require people to do manner. It would be a law if they do that. And manner is to show that they respect the person or sometimes thing. I think most people will respect the waiter or waitress. And it is also a way for customers to reward the good service they got. So the tip is paying for the service, and just the money you pay is for the food you ate. 

The conclusion is that it is different for everybody. But I think they should not force people to pay tips to waiters because it is the manner and for customers, it may just look like an additional fee. Also, it is the way of respecting the waiter or waitress and many people will probably be doing it.
