Why veterans should have more government support.

 Hi! Do you know anyone that is a veteran? Well, today's topic is "Why veterans should have more government support.".

I think that they should have more government support. If they had been injured either physically or mentally, I think the government should at least help them with financial support. They got hurt in a war that their country forced them to join. Although they would earn money, it wouldn't be very easy to recover from their injury. And it won't be so fair for soldiers to not get any kind of support since they probably went through a lot and they supported their nation. But it would be unfair to the nation itself too. Some countries would be pretty busy rebuilding and reconstructing their country after a few years. So they might not have the money or the right experts to support thousands or millions of veterans. And some veterans could have lost their friends or family. They might need some emotional support since it won't be easy going through what they are going through. 

But there are of course other opinions too. It will be pretty hard for a nation to help all the veterans since millions die in the war and ten million get injured physically or mentally. And they can't pay and support every one of the veterans. Some countries could fail and bankrupt. Maybe they could remembrance about them and have events every year like Memorial day. But it would be difficult and almost impossible for a country to help every one veteran in the country. And even if they were able to successfully do it, it would be very unfair to normal people who didn't participate in the war. They were just doing fine and keeping the nation alive, and soldiers came back with lots of money from the government now there is inflation and their life just got harder and soldiers are fine and some are even millionaires. 

In conclusion, opinions can vary, but I actually think that they should get some support since they served their country, and they even helped their nation get out of the bad situations. So they probably deserve some respect and suppor.
