Hi! Do you like watching videos of cute babies? Well, today's topic is "Those who want children should take parenting classes and pass tests before having a child."
On this topic, I have two opinions, yes they should and no they shouldn't. Firstly, I'm going to talk about why they shouldn't do it. The first reason is that it is their choice to have their own child or not. And what is the government going to do if they fail? They can't kill the baby, that would be considered murder. So they will probably send the baby to the orphanage until they can find the right parent who has passed the test. It won't be fair to the parents and it won't be giving them their own freedom to have their own child. This means that if you are not smart enough, you can't have a child. But some people could argue that if they want a child, they should focus. But are there any real reasons that government should force parents to take an extra class? The Law of the United State of America states that a person has to go to school at 14 to 16 years old according to the state that you are in. And forcing them to take an extra school would be against a law. And for some people that have low-paying jobs, every hour is precious. And the government is going to make them waste their time in some class? I don't that would be reasonable.
But teaching them about parenting would help them learn things that they would have to learn through mistakes that they make. And helping them like this could mean that they could easily register who's going to be parents. But also a big problem would be that no one can know if a person is going to be the parent or not. The only way to know is if they volunteer and let them know or if one of their family or friends tells the register about them being parents. And this would mean that having a class will be chosen not a required one. They could possibly pass out licenses for parenting and unlicensed parents would have to pay a fine and will be forced to take the class. The class could also prevent mistreating their children.
