The legal drinking age should be changed to 18 for hard liquor and spirits, and to 16 for beer and wine

 Hi! Are you older than 20? Well, today's topic is "The legal drinking age should be changed to 18 for hard liquor and spirits, and to 16 for beer and wine.". 

I don't think they should be changed at all. The first reason that there are reasons that people set the age limit to 21. It can cause problems for society when teenagers are not mature enough like adults are. So they could make trouble when they are drunk. And nobody wants lots of trouble, unless.... they want, which lots of people don't. And there could be lots of traffic problems because teenagers could be driving drunk, or doing other stuff. Some of you could say "Oh it is just fine.". But people can get seriously injured or worse.  And 21-year-olds are probably more responsible and mature than 18 years old or 16 years old. That is why I don't think it should be changed. You may say that it is good because there are fewer arrests for the crime of drinking at low age. But I think there would be more accidents that would lead up to more arrests of teenagers than ever in history. It would be also easier for kids to get their hands on alcohol because lots of teenagers can.

But there are other reasons too. Like drinking alcohol is not good for your body. And if teenagers are not mature enough they could form an addiction to it. Which wouldn't be a great thing or even an okay thing for teenagers. Also, there could be some accidents that happened because of law changing. And it could take over millions of dollars to cover those expenses. Also, Lots of adults, especially parents probably will not approve of this idea. Most surveys show that adults would perfer to not change legal drinking age and make it stay at 21. Of course, some teenagers and alcohol sellers would like this idea. But for the health of the nation, I think it is best and safe to not change the drinking age to 18 for hard liquor and spirits, and 16 for beer and wine. 

That was all. To sum up and make conclusion, unlike many of my essays, I covered only one opinion, they shouldn't be changed, for lots of reasons like 21 is more mature, and more.
